Welcome to our Sideline Cheer Program, designed for athletes looking to cheer in a fun and supportive environment while representing local youth football teams. This program is perfect for young cheerleaders who want to learn the basics of cheerleading, build their skills, and be a part of the excitement of game day!
Program Overview Our Sideline Cheer athletes practice once a week for cheer, where they learn a variety of chants, cheers, and jumps to support the football teams associated with the Lawrence Youth Football Program. Through these practices, athletes will develop their teamwork, coordination, and leadership skills while staying active and having fun. Program Requirements In addition to weekly cheer practices, athletes are required to take one tumbling class per week. This tumbling class will help enhance their cheerleading skills, improve their flexibility, and build confidence in performing stunts and tumbling elements. At the end of the season, our Sideline Cheer team performs a special halftime routine at one of the local high school basketball games, showcasing all they've learned throughout the season. It’s an exciting way to wrap up the season and celebrate their hard work! Season Timeline
